For documents used overseas — birth certificates, marriage licenses, corporate records, diplomas, FBI background checks. We handle the full apostille pipeline through the Michigan Secretary of State or U.S. State Department.

Document Preparation

Need help with the paperwork itself? We assist with form completion for standard pre-printed templates — bills of sale, parental travel consents, basic affidavits, vehicle title forms, and similar documents where you provide the information and we ensure the form is filled out correctly for notarization. We are not attorneys and do not provide legal advice; for documents requiring legal analysis or custom drafting, we'll refer you to a licensed attorney.

Why Ironside Pro

"Real notary. Real service. No call centers, no scripts, no waiting on hold."

  • Licensed & Bonded. Commissioned in the State of Michigan, NNA certified, bonded, and carrying full E&O insurance. Your documents are signed by an actual human notary — not an AI workflow.
  • Built for speed. Most notarizations are completed within a few hours of your request during business hours and extended evening/weekend windows. Apostilles return in days, not weeks, because we hand-walk filings through the Secretary of State.
  • Privacy first. Every session is encrypted end-to-end and your documents are purged from our servers within 7 days unless you ask us to retain them. We never sell or share data — ever.
  • Flat-rate quotes. You'll know the full price before you upload a single page. No surprise fees, no service charges, no per-page nickel-and-diming.
Frequently Asked

Answers, before you ask.

Yes. Remote Online Notarization (RON) performed by a commissioned Michigan notary is recognized as legally valid in all 50 states under interstate recognition laws and the federal E-SIGN Act. You can sign from anywhere in the country (or the world) and use the notarized document where you need it. If you're using it overseas, you'll likely need an apostille as well — we can handle that too.
Almost anything that doesn't specifically require wet ink: powers of attorney, affidavits, deeds, parental travel consents, vehicle title transfers, business contracts, vendor agreements, school enrollment letters, IRS forms, and more. A few documents — most notably original wills, codicils, and certain self-proving affidavits in some states — still require an in-person notary. If you're not sure, send us your document and we'll tell you.
Most requests are scheduled within a few hours of submission during business hours and extended evening and weekend windows. Same-day appointments are standard for requests submitted during operating hours. The actual notarization video session takes 5 to 10 minutes once it begins. Your sealed PDF is delivered to your inbox the moment the call ends.
Three things: the document itself (any format — we'll convert it), a valid government-issued photo ID (driver's license, passport, or state ID), and a device with a camera (phone, tablet, or computer). The platform will guide you through knowledge-based authentication and ID capture before the notary joins the session.
An apostille is a certification that authenticates a document for international use in countries that are members of the Hague Convention. If you're sending a U.S. document overseas — for marriage, adoption, immigration, business registration, or property — you almost certainly need one. We obtain the apostille on your behalf through the Michigan Secretary of State (or the U.S. State Department for federal documents) and ship it back to you.
Yes. All video sessions are conducted over 256-bit encrypted connections. Identity verification uses bank-grade KBA and government ID matching. Notarized documents are tamper-evident — any modification after sealing invalidates the seal. We retain records only as required by Michigan notary law (10 years for the journal entry; documents themselves are purged within 7 days unless you request retention).
For Metro Detroit (Oakland, Macomb, Wayne counties), yes — by appointment for documents that require in-person notarization or when a client simply prefers it. Reach out via the form below or call us to coordinate a time and location.
